COMMAND REWARDED

Just came home from a funeral service this evening and it was pretty emotional.  The gentleman was the husband of one of our Sunday School teachers.  He was the same age as Grandma, 69.  He leaves his wife, a son and two daughters.  One of the daughters sang "In Daddy's Hands".  There were no dry eyes at that service.  I had his granddaughter in our WBC kids ministries 10 years ago.  She is now 16 and came up to me saying how she remember being in my class.  I was amazed she remembered.  When God COMMANDS you to do His work the REWARDS are never ending.

 

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

It is better to pay the price of obedience than the penalty of disobedience.

 

"He who scorns instruction will pay for it, but he who respects a COMMAND is REWARDED."
