Grandpa and I made it home today safe and sound.  The time was 5 PM Ohio time.  We could not have asked for two more perfect days of traveling then we had.  Our trip to MN was beyond our comprehension as we were treated as royalty.  I have many pictures that I will be sending out like a couple each day along with a story behind them.  We can't thank Steve and Tracy enough for opening up their home to us as we felt very welcomed.

We are all packed and ready to travel.  Our plan is to start out around 5 A.M. with Grandma taking the first shift at the wheel.  I have to say I'm excited and probably won't get to sleep right away but I know we will be in good hands with "Jesus at the Wheel".  We will have our coffee mugs filled, favorite cd's ready to play and my very best friend and sweetheart sitting by my side.   Hmmmmm!  I think I'm getting the tingles. :)

My next post will be next week so with that "be well our family and friends."

Went swimming this morning and hair done this afternoon.  I think my beautician forgot what color hair I have because I came home a little darker then I planned.  Oh Well!  It will wash out in time.

Grandpa had his Amish run today so he was busy this morning and afternoon.  He is good about gathering stuff we need for our trip.  He takes care of the suitcases and I take care of the snacks.  Although I have to say he came home from town with some real yummy's. That's my honey he knows how to keep Grandma happy. :)

We are so looking forward to seeing Chris and Lindsay on Friday, Alyssa and Bob on Saturday, Aaron on Sunday and Jess will be around all weekend and Samantha for part of the weekend.  We are so happy to have an opportunity to see them on our short visit. Yippee!!!  Thank you Steve and Tracy for the gathering.

WORKMANSHIP

Grandpa and I had a wonderful and eventful drive to Hillville, PA.  We had directions but the location we were going was very remote.  We called John on our cell phone and he gave us some landmarks to follow.  The only reason we were able to get a hold of John was he was on his way to a hardware store and had reception on his cell.  John told us to call Deb's phone because she got better reception.  We called Deb and lost reception but Deb was able to leave a voicemail message for us which I kept on playing till we found the cabin.  Eureka!!! We made it.  The cabin is beautiful with all the renovations that had been done.  The location is very serene seeing the river right from the cabin.  We loved it!  Thank you John and Deb for a wonderful afternoon and lunch.  Grandpa was saying on the way home what a nice afternoon we had.  We followed John and Deb till we got on the main road and home we came.

I just heard they recently raised the speed limit on the Ohio turnpike to 70 miles an hour.  I have a feeling I'm going to have a lot of vehicles passing me up when we make our trip up north.  I use to say how slow those old people drive but now I understand why.  It's a scary world out there on them there roads.  Well!!!! Maybe it's all the other drivers that should be scarred. Right?  (this does not require an answer)

It was a wonderful day today even though it was April fool's day.  I heard a lot of jokes played on people today that were pretty funny but thought I would spare you from a Happy Grandma joke.
